I love this lens cap!

I have two, one small and one medium. I took them with me on vacation and I'm very glad I have them! Went to Alaska and LILO! We were on the boat taking photos and everyone was disappointed that they couldn't take photos and then they saw me with it and immediately asked about it. I was able to walk out in the pouring rain with the camera and lens combo and not a single drop hit my system. Photographed behind waterfalls to protect my camera with it and I love it so much!

Pros
  • Easy access to camera controls and lens
Cons
  • Crumpled

I used this, but not yet when it rains or snows (the weather didn't cooperate). Very easy to attach to the camera. I just have to get used to working with the camera with the lens hood on. Camouflage pattern on the hood was exactly what I ordered, but the image of the pattern on the internet seemed different to me. The difference in pattern isn't enough to send it back and get a pattern that I think would be better for shooting in the woods. I doubt a deer and a bear will tell the difference. .

Pros
  • Protects against rain, snow, salt spray, sand
Cons
  • Everything is fine

Potential is there, but requires personal 'hack'

Why can't these companies use common sense and make a worthy product really good? Overall excellent quality/fabrics but realizing this thing is difficult because it's just hard to attach to the camera! More specifically, yes you need a lens hood, yes there is a bungee cord in the lens body but unlike their higher end/bigger products this one doesn't have a built in rubber/grip so it's very difficult to hold the lens actually covering remained on the lens, making it pointless to have this thing…

Pros
  • Made in the USA
Cons
  • Not bad, but...
