Snow (weather was not favourable). Very easy to attach to the camera. I just have to get used to working with the camera with the lens hood on. Camouflage pattern on the hood was exactly what I ordered, but the image of the pattern on the internet seemed different to me. The difference in pattern isn't enough to send it back and get a pattern that I think would be better for shooting in the woods. I doubt a deer and a bear will tell the difference. . . (but turkey can :-))

It has potential, but it requires some personal "hacking "

Why can't these companies use common sense and make a worthy product really good? Overall excellent quality/fabrics but realizing this thing is difficult because it's just hard to attach to the camera! More specifically yes you need a lens hood yes there is a bungee cord in the lens cover but unlike their higher end/bigger products this one doesn't have a built in rubber/grip so it's very difficult to remove that actually covering the lens left on the lens, making it pointless to have that…

I did the same with the top of the boot, sewing a small square of Velcro on…
