Mine was broken. Might be a compatibility issue with the iPhone 7 adapter, but they make a click/click every quarter of a second. This noise is audible both with and without noise reduction enabled. I bought it on Wirecutter's recommendation and am very dissatisfied.

I was a little disappointed with this. They're certainly cheap for ANC headphones, but there's a reason for that. They don't block much noise. They break off a bit, but it's really nothing major. I don't know what's wrong with them either, but I can't get the headphones to stay in my ears. I have changed different sizes but no matter what I use they keep falling out. I've never had this problem with other headphones.

I've tried the noise canceling feature and I can't see any significant difference compared to no noise cancelling. However, I don't think this is a problem unique to this product. I've tried other high-end noise-cancelling headphones and just can't tell the difference between having the noise-cancelling on and off. It's better to have small non-noise-cancelling in-ear headphones in a smaller package.

There's always a question: do you judge something by the perfect version, no matter the price, or by how well it performs in its price range? These headphones have noise cancellation, which I can't say about other budget headphones I've tried. And it wasn't enough to drown out the normal noise of an airplane like noise-cancelling in-ear headphones at 10 times the price can do. (Happy silence. They almost hate making music!) So it's up to you how many stars you give this one. i keep them
