My husband has used the Lever 2000 for decades and is a huge fan of it. But either they changed it that much or we got a fake batch because this soap is awful. The sticks are so hard that they will peel off in layers when drying after use, much like puff pastry. They do not foam and the smell has changed. I have been using soap for 25 years and the new formula is terrible. Over the years I have traveled to other countries and this is the formula they have used in those countries. It smells bad, leaves a rough film. i want her back I miss my Lever 2000. I can't finish another soap that I like as much as the old formula.

I have been using lever soap for many years. I kept buying it even after they shaved off an ounce on the sides and advertised it as "New shape, easy to hold, same low price". However, the latest batch of Revain has an unpleasant smell. Not like Lever from the past.
