Positive switching action with center-off position. Large Silver cadmium-oxide contacts for long life, prevent sticking, welding and excessive pitting. Clamp-type terminals accept up to #10 cu wire. Full rated current capacity on fluorescent, tungsten and resistive loads, motor load capacity up to 80-percent switch current rating. Backed by a limited ten-year warranty.

Is a key switch, not the switch expected

When I received this item I was a little disappointed that it is controlled by a key rather than a traditional toggle switch. I can make it work though!

To do this, buy a key, otherwise you will not be able to control this switch!

This switch requires a Leviton key. At least one key must be included in the package. There is absolutely no mention of this in the description, just a bitter surprise when you expect the work to start. $7.43 must be purchased separately.
