charge control switch.

I have an electric bike and the charger needs to be switched on and off constantly. I didn't like constantly turning it on and off. This works well for managing my power needs.

Pros
  • Excellent design
Cons
  • Crumpled packaging

Makes my work easier. via electrics

I bought this for my 2 year old Samsung Blu-ray player in my bedroom. Its software is buggy and has a habit of not playing DVD or Blu-Ray unless I restart it. It also freezes and requires a reboot. Instead of having to turn off the power at the power strip, which turns everything off and causes some electronics to reset or shut down, which is cumbersome and wears out the outlet, I can now just unplug the Samsung Blu-ray player.

Pros
  • Quality construction
Cons
  • Requires an outlet

Works as it should.

Does exactly what it should. I have a duplex wall panel that has both a light switch and two outlets. By plugging this Leviton device into one of the outlets, I can control a wired light source from the same location as another switch controlled light source. I no longer have to manually go to a light to turn it on. Maybe I would just change the switch position. In the photo, the switch is actually in the off position.

Pros
  • Easy installation
Cons
  • There are other interesting options.
