Works like a champ on my wife's Nikon D7100 when shooting video.

Runs like a champ on my wife's Nikon D7100 and shoots video at full speed. Excellent price. As always, explore your camera's capabilities in terms of recording to the card. There's no need to buy a card that can handle a lot more than the camera can record. Just avoid bottlenecks.

Pros
  • Pleasant to use
Cons
  • Some cons

love these cards! good for computer accessories and peripherals

I have a camera that can work with both CF Express and SD cards. They write almost as fast WITHOUT the overheating issues I've experienced with CF. These are quality cards at a very reasonable price. I have several of these, they take videos and photos with no problem. I always keep them in my cell with backups in my pocket.

Pros
  • GOLS certified
Cons
  • Speed

I have used Lexar cards for many years.

I used other brands when I first started using digital media. I had card failures so I always had 2 cards in my cell. I've only had one Lexar card fail, and it's entirely possible that it was user error. I rotate about 20 cards and swap cards after a few years - thousands upon thousands of images. I trust Lexar.

Pros
  • Great construction
Cons
  • Quality

Good, reliable and fast

I like these memory cards because they have enough space for my photography. My camera downloads large RAW files to the hard drive at a very high speed, allowing me to take many pictures without waiting for my files to load. Not only that, they are reliable. I don't need a card crash after taking some important photos.

Pros
  • Quality construction
Cons
  • Not the best

3 of 4 Lexar SD memory cards FAILED

I bought 4 Lexar cards in September 2017 - today 2nd February 2021 my 3rd card failed - cannot access photos on it - same as the others 2 I throw away the fourth because I don't want to lose any more photos. The reason I decided to write a review even though I've had it for a little over 3 years is because I have Sandisk memory cards that I've had twice as long and they still work great. I just ordered 2 more SD memory cards and they are not Lexar.

Pros
  • Very good price
Cons
  • No

Lexar, especially Lexar SD cards - negative reviews

Cards look good, work fast and fast. That's all. If you're worried about damaging your camera (I use Nikon), laptop or desktop (I use Macbook Pro and iMac), I strongly recommend NOT buying Lexar SD cards. Man they break so easily and the part that holds the pins falls apart easily. I damaged the SD card slots on my Nikon D810 and Macbook Pro. I had to pay Nikon to fix it. Macbook didn't care, just bought another card reader.

Pros
  • UHS-II / V60 / U3 / Class 10 - Full HD, 3D and 4K video recording
Cons
  • Has been damaged

Reliable Professional Cards

time! I get thousands upon thousands of dollars for every shoot I do and I can't risk my cards breaking, making mistakes, etc. during my campaigns. I've been using Lexar Pro for as long as I can remember. I normally use black and gold Lexar Pro CF cards but recently added a Canon 5d mk 4 to my kit and wanted to shoot RAW to SD and JPEG to CF cards so I had to add SD cards to my kit for the first time. . I immediately looked for Lexar Pro SD cards and wanted at least 800x speed. I saw these twoโ€ฆ
