Protects from the sun. I've worn a few Nike sleeves and they're so light and soft and fresh all the time, like my skin is bare. Well, that doesn't happen with this sweatshirt. The fabric feels a bit thicker and hotter. That's a little more than expected.

I was looking for a very light jacket for hiking in warm weather and this jacket is perfect. It has 2 large and deep pockets on the inside and 2 zippered pockets on the outside. I carry a 16.9 ounce bottle of water in one of the inside pockets and my phone in the other. I use one of the zipped house key pouches. I have just ordered a second white jacket for myself and another jacket for my granddaughter.

I ordered a jacket from two brands to compare and found them to be IDENTICAL: fabric, colour, style, cut: ie same manufacturer. I kept this Libin brand because it has zipped pockets which Baleaf doesn't have. Comfy, beautiful lavender, true pink (no orange undertone) and flash! PS The white is slightly muted with a hint of cream to help it blend well. with other colors but will conflict with other neon white clothing. This is a great lightweight sun cover! I bought a few different brands to try on. I like this one the most because of the color and the more secure zip pockets. I find it a little big, especially in the hands, which is very unusual. *Update: I returned the Med and now I have the small size and it fits perfectly. I would say if you are between sizes go down. The only reason this doesn't get 5 stars is that it lacks the little stitched material at the very top of the zipper that keeps the plastic

I'm editing my original review. The center sleeves were too tight so I sent it back and bought a large one. The fit is much better and I am happy with the jacket. It's very light and comfortable. For reference, I'm 5ft 2in / 125lbs. The large size doesn't fit me, but I was looking for it. A medium size would also fit but as mentioned below the sleeves were oddly tight. I bought the light blue color and it is very pretty. The pictures match the color. ------ --- I ordered medium and it fits well
