The item arrived on June 23rd. The letters are already beginning to fade. It's fine, but will leave a smeary black stain on the container and anything that comes in contact with it. The lid is ideal as a cutting board. Holds 1 loaf of bread.

I don't have much space in my kitchen and this bread bin is just the thing. It's not too bulky. I have to cut my sourdough bread in half to store it, but that's enough for me. The bread bin is also fairly airtight and will keep fresh for a while. I am very happy with this purchase.

I have a vintage kitchen, the cream color goes perfectly with the tiles on the worktop. Also, it's not too big so it fits in the limited space that comes with a vintage kitchen. Right now he's holding a big loaf of bread, some biscuits and Tostad mussels. I really liked that the set includes a cutting board, bread knife and toaster tongs. And a topper. It was the best price on Revain!

So it's not exactly like the picture. No handles as shown. It's a bit more yellow than cream, like an antique. You can't open the lid with one hand (don't know if anyone else cares about that besides me). Maybe I would have been better off choosing one of the ones with a slide closure, but I like it. It contains a whole loaf of regular bread, not sure about artisanal bread. I like it because it keeps bread out of the pantry and looks great on my countertop.

First I saw reviews that there were no handles. Appearance pleased, I decided to order. Upon receipt it was packaged very well. No external damage. Therefore, I was not surprised by the lack of handles, but I was very surprised that the metal box was dented in the upper right corner, the upper wooden part was broken (split), and there was no knife in the box. Obviously this is an internal customer service issue. The handles would really improve the maintenance and appearance of this bread bin…
