Non-replaceable bulb without rewiring tool.

After installing this bulb, it flickered like a disco light. After contacting the seller, he informed me that I would need to rewire the light and remove the ballast. This lamp was sold as a replacement lamp. No info on rewiring etc. I'm not an electrician so I'll apply for a refund. I'll let you know the status of the return later. **UPDATE: After requesting a refund, the company issued a full refund. Very happy with the service. I think the lamp is a good product but not suitable for my lamp.

Lamp very intermittent, does not turn on constantly, sometimes turns off or flickers

Bought to replace the humming fluorescent lamp in the kitchen hood (a fairly modern hood, 2015). This lightbulb doesn't stay on all the time when I turn it on, it flickers from time to time and randomly decided not to work. I have another 18" double sided LED that I use in my bathroom and I tested it on my range hood to see if it was a connection issue and it was clearly a lamp design flaw. If it works, it's great. Works great with my old drum warning lights

I have 2 old Craftsman drum warning lights that hang from my garage ceiling and are in constant use. I decided to replace the fluorescent lights with LEDs. The lamps were shipped quickly and arrived in great condition, well packaged in hard cardboard tubes. My lights have a starter switch so I had to figure out how to bypass the switch (hardwired) and also remove the ballast (easy).
