It's a toy: my feedback

Not really happy with this.Yes it includes guitar strings, but they are simply small gauge metal wire and there is no way to tune them, so they are worthless to get any real notes if you attempt to play them like a real guitar. And the ones that came on the guitar we received were floppy lose. The built-in speaker has NO volume control as the pre-recorded "songs" that play are really loud (this from a guy that grew up on 80's/90's heavy metal). It's simply a toy to use for your epic Air-guitar…

Pros
  • Bought this for my grandson. He loves to listen to his dad play. A perfect size and so realistic.
Cons
  • The strings may require frequent tuning, which can be frustrating for those who are new to playing the guitar

Looks cool, but not very functional.

Looks nice. Kids still enjoy it, but no bolume control. It was shockingly loud. We had to put scotch tape over the speaker area and now it is just fine. I thought it would have a little bit more function. I feel it is a low quality product.

Pros
  • Strings really play and also plays songs. We've Had plenty of fun with this guitar.
Cons
  • The size of the guitar may not be suitable for all age ranges, leaving some kids and beginners unable to use it comfortably

Do not waste your money, it stopped working after 30 minutes.

I want to explain how the guitar works: the strings do not play anything, you can only pretend you are playing but no sounds at all, so, the guitar has two little buttons (Mode 1 and Mode 2) which l did not understand. Anyway, if you push Mode 2, then the guitar starts playing songs when you touch the strings. By the way. NO USER MANUAL or instruccions neither in the box nor inside the box. After saying this.We opened this "Electronic Guitar" today and stopped working (the automatic…

Pros
  • my nephew loved his gift.
Cons
  • The guitar may not come with necessary accessories, such as a carrying case or extra strings, which could be inconvenient for those who want to take it on the go or replace parts

My son loves it, he's 3 and a half.

OK so my 3 yr old absolutely loves this thing. I guess that's what counts. My older kids have music lessons and he now feels like he can jam with them. The strings are way too lose and can't be tightened but somehow they have survived his wild plucking on them. I've had it for 3 months now. I feel like it's gonna break since day one but it has held up. It's cheap and cheesy but serves a need for him. This is nowhere near a real instrument. It's a toy. He no longer crises to play on my daughters

Pros
  • I liked the size and style.
Cons
  • The blue color may not appeal to all kids and beginners, limiting its overall popularity

Do Not Purchase! in my review

This guitar cane in scratched like it had been used. It never worked from the beginning! My Grandson was so excited for his Christmas present. What a disappointment.

Pros
  • Easy for my grandson to use
Cons
  • The lack of an instructional guide or manual may make it difficult for beginners to learn the basics of playing the guitar

Toddler toy for sure

Definitely not what I expected. Said that it was for kids and beginners but it is not for a beginner at all it is strictly a kids toy. Definitely not a guitar you want to get a child who wishes to start learning the actual instrument.

Pros
  • My 4 year old loves this toy.
Cons
  • The lack of adjustable straps may make it difficult for some kids and beginners to hold and play the guitar comfortably

Toddler loves it - my new review

My 2.5-yo loves this guitar. It plays tunes when you press the big blue button so he feels like he’s actually playing. You can also use a different mode to just "strum” without playing songs (the strings are more for the look/feel - the sound is electronic, not from the strings). We’ve had it for 2 months and it’s still working great - haven’t even broken a string.

Pros
  • Grandson won't put it down he loves it
Cons
  • Arrived broken...Junk
