"Brings a new light on me "!

This adapter is exactly as described. He takes an E17 base and makes it where you can use a regular lightbulb. It is great. It's worth the few dollars it cost. I open the package and crush it. This saved me from having to replace the lamp.

Pros
  • Easy setup
Cons
  • There are other interesting options.

solved the problem for the electrician

I bought a mother and daughter flashlight bulb and didn't realize that less light requires a smaller base bulb which is hard to find in a good LED that doesn't look yellow, that solved the problem, i can use a regular base lamp. It sticks out a bit but can be pointed at my sewing machine for more light.

Pros
  • several competitors
Cons
  • are unreliable

It's good when it works.

Great when it works. We bought them to install our ceiling fan that cannot find E17 bulbs. Worked great for about 2 weeks, then 3 out of 4 (brand new) bulbs blew out. I wanted to put new bulbs in and 1 socket was completely dead and now not working. It only had 60W bulbs and is rated for up to 75W. Let's see how long his new set of lightbulbs last and if the first set was just a fluke.

Pros
  • Nice to use
Cons
  • old
