These chilli lights are super cute and just the right size to hang anywhere. You just need to add your own batteries and they glow great. Also a fun gift.

Soft plastic pepper, very nice. There is an on, off or timer setting. I hung it on the wall and the light seemed to "illuminate" it. we love it and will give it as a gift.

I've never had this problem with chili lights. But I bought two ristra and the chili keeps popping on the lights! I have to glue them, which is very annoying. Oh, the bow of straw (which imitates corn husks) at the top of each ristra is also very dirty and too long. I ended up untying them, cutting the ropes in half and making a more traditional broom head.
