Bought for 12 month old grandson. He LOVES making them creak. I think the shoes encouraged him to look at his feet and gain confidence and coordination. Now he's walking. And became his daily favorites in kindergarten! It took a little while for the dogs to get used to sounding like their dog toys.

These are good squeaky shoes for children who need help with normal walking (ie walking on a flat surface with heels, not tiptoe). However, I am sending them back for a smaller size. My son wears a 6.5-7. I ordered size 6; he needs a size 5. 6 flops off his feet. I hope this company starts selling squeaky high top shoes because high tops offer better ankle support. After 3-4 days of wearing, the material (thread) starts to tear, for that 3 stars.
