I make postcards and like to use light shimmers on them. This is a great weight for map layers but not thick enough for the bases. It's great for cutting out anything that needs a little sparkle, like layers or sentiment. It paints well, but is easily deformed during hot stamping. The deformed piece actually bonded well and you couldn't even see the warp. This would be perfect for wedding or anniversary cards or invitations.

Unfortunately the product arrived only twice wrapped in polyethylene and then in a shipping carton. The sleeve should not be used for postcards or stationery as this will damage the corners. The seller could put them in the box I usually get when I order this special paper. Then this box is put in a packaging box, but this product box can protect it better than just plastic packaging. The shimmer on this one is great. I tested it in different situations, the paper I tested is a 107 lb cover. Inkjet printer I used a Canon Pixma Pro-100 to print from the manual feed. The printer grabbed this thick paper with no problem. The ink has color accuracy issues on this paper. No matter what colors I tried to print on this paper, the result was a silvery gray. I have received envelope 107. It is a beautiful and shimmering pearl color. Thickness/weight similar to Stardream case. However, please do not assume that this cover material is easy to print on. It is too heavy and the ink tends to smear when printed. I have tried this cover material on two laser printers (not included) and an HP inkjet printer.
