very well designed in Power & Electrical

These plugs are very well designed and easy to install and I find them better than the original plugs. I find it a bit pricey but in the long run it's probably worth the price

Pros
  • Confident
Cons
  • Functionality

Decent quality for the money!

Replaced bad ends on my RV extension cord. Decent quality for the money. It's a little tricky to get those 10 gauge wires through, but that's always the case. Good value for money.

Absolute rubbish in Power & Electrical

Bought for my RV. Very cheap quality product, seems easy to break if dropped. I ended up cutting the handle off because it didn't fit the storage hole, so I buy a new one at an RV parts store.

Pros
  • good stuff
Cons
  • nothing

Poor quality best in Power & Electrical

Not a quality product. The connector's socket pins do not allow for full engagement of the connector end, leaving a few mm of connector end exposed. Also, the female connector's pins seem to bend easily and don't make a good connection. Unfortunately outside of my 30 day return period or I would have sent it back. Will be replaced by another brand.

Pros
  • Nice packaging
Cons
  • old

Plugs are critical in connection systems

Over the years I've sometimes been lazy about upgrading and swapping out plugs in RV hookups. But I have noticed that some of the spark plugs get hot under load. IT'S TIME TO REPLACE THEM. From now on I carry an extra kit to service the main cable, extension cable and a set of pigtails. Those are great plugs. Better not seen.

Pros
  • Annual Test Period

You must be careful when connecting if you use a thick wire.

The matching kit is convenient and makes it easy to assemble a custom power strip. I use a thick (#6) wire that holds it in place, but with a little care it connects well. instead of the old (but very good) 20A cable #12 there is now a full 30A supply. Recommended.

Pros
  • Easy to use
Cons
  • Power socket required

It still works.

I was a bit disappointed when I received this item. Very cheaply made, not visible in the photo. I was in a dilemma so I used it. I had to smear the edges with silicone because they weren't very tight and I was worried about water getting in. I used plugs to replace the ends on my coast for my RV. Nothing has happened to them so far, but they worry me. In the near future they will be replaced by more powerful ones.

Pros
  • High quality workmanship
Cons
  • Nothing here
