I was leaning towards the slightly more expensive pack with a more pronounced lunch box pocket but it looks well made, is attractive and has a nice feel/comfortable zippers. It's big but a must for all kids these days. In general we like it!

Good size, looks like the photo, super cute. The other review that said the lunch bag is small is correct. There will be no bottled drink but fries, a sandwich and other treats or maybe a drink bag/box. The backpack has a mesh divider in the middle which is nice. Bought for 11 years, she decided. It felt like good quality, I hope it lasts longer than the school year.

I like getting my son a new bag when he starts middle school because he wears it out very quickly. We bought it for nine dollars less last year. There are holes between the compartments and from the outside it looks like an old rag doll. This happened in the first month or so of using it. There is no label on it, no indication of where and what is ok like the day we received it. Well worth the extra nine bucks and I think we might even get another year which would be awesome.
