Great idea but too weak. I bought this about a week ago. Two days after installation, my wife was on a conference call and wanted a charger. She ripped it out of the wall and destroyed the tab where it screws into the socket. Fail.

This product is simply amazing. I plugged my phone charger into a kitchen outlet. I added a small cord holder at the top to keep the cord out of the way when not in use. I love this thing so much I'm considering getting two more. I will never have to search the kids' rooms for a kitchen charger again.

I live in a hostel and my cables are constantly being stolen. This product not only saved me a lot of time but also money as I didn't have to go to the store or order extra cables. Tired of your kids stealing your chargers and cables?! Why do they always lose their cords and suddenly you seem to lose your only precious cord? Ordered for my bedroom so my wife and kids won't steal my charger anymore. I will be buying a few more for general use in the kitchen and office break room. At first I was a bit confused how all this is connected, but everything is quite simple: 1) a small handle is screwed on the cord and tied to the cube (cannot be torn off); 2) The Cube is secured in the socket by replacing the existing front panel mounting screw (supplied with the unit) with the tab in the charger.
