Type of review

I originally bought this tool primarily for removing nails (to save framing wood from rework etc. and for breaking up pallets). -down for other woodworking projects), but as mentioned in other reviews, it's just as effective for installation and/or nailing. A REAL time saver

Likes. Light, good balance, complete with spare parts. In the time it took me to drive nails into a 2x4 wheel, the punch pounded six. I restored a pile of firewood that would have taken a day to complete in about an hour and a half. It punched through almost all of the nails I had to remove with no problem. Small nails in plywood can go all the way through, so keep a magnet in a plastic bucket handy for cleaning. Very good tool and I am very happy with the purchase. I do not like it. Not yetโ€ฆ

Pros
  • Tools and household goods

  • Expensive

The tool has a shank with a piston inside. To do this, insert the tip of the nail into the rod as far as it will go and press the button. The piston pushes theโ€ฆ
