good: landing gear simulation perfect and great, must have GA plane addon to add more realism, bad: must find and load his own driver (e.g. Xplane) Saitek doesn't seem as cheap as it really is, multiple switches sending their status to USB don't need to be 100's. The launcher 'holds', ie when the launcher is released it doesn't return to both (this should match) would recommend completing the realistic sim though, but at the cost and disadvantage.

I'm using it with DCS and Xplane so I was expecting to use it for the recently released Microsoft Flight Simulator 2020, it's currently not supported. The Xplane has a driver and the DCS requires the 3rd party Flight Panels application but both will work. I'm using this on Linux with X-Plane. I would also like to use it with FlightGear, but I'm not sure if it's compatible. X-Plane requires special drivers to work. Since it's basically just a dumb block of switches, except for the chassis lights, I wish it could be called a standard joystick full of switches. They work great right out of the box and can be easily configured using 3rd party programming tools (SPAD, SPAD.NeXt) to perform various functions in your flight simulator.
