Great for UE BOOM

Great for UE BOOM but don't use it on a Samsung phone, they work but are slightly different and will ruin this cable. If you want to charge your Samsung phone, please use the Samsung cable. You want to easily charge your UE BOOM with it.

I have ordered other types of charging cables for various other electronic products and this may be random. It is great. This corresponds exactly to the charging setup of the UE Megaboom.

CONS: Extremely compatible with UE Boom cable

I have had to replace the UE Boom cable 3 times due to breakage or loss and it annoys me that other cables with the same type of connection cannot charge the speaker. I have a dozen other cables that fit properly into the charging port, but ONLY the yellow UE Boom cable works for charging.
