Not perfect, but the best headphones in this price range.

I bought a pair of these about a year ago. I wear them every day on the way to work under my motorcycle helmet and also when training on the road bike. They don't stick out too far, but could be more even for my purposes. I really like the sound insulation when driving. And they sound great. The microphone and controls worked great with my iPhone. About a year later, the left earpiece started turning off. I found that the problem is with the wire connection coming into the connector. I haven't…

Mostly good quality

They were very good to begin with, great bass, comfortable fit and all, but there are two problems. Firstly when I received them they had an awkward habit of loosing the plastic inside the headphone IN MY EAR. Has often happened to me in very uncomfortable places, like on the train or at school. The first time I got scared and let a friend catch a fish, but eventually I became a master at inserting a paper clip and catching it myself. Sketchy! But a little super glue fixed it and I never had…

Great headphones for your money

Great headphones for your money. I use professional in-ear headphones for instrument monitoring and I'm relatively picky as I prefer a soft and natural sound reproduction. I've been dissatisfied with most regular in-ear headphones for everyday listening, but not with this one. While the audio presentation isn't what I would call flat, it's pretty close. Bass extension is good and clean. No dirt or overstretching obscuring the rest of the audio presentation. Very good mids and highs detail, but…

Sounds good, doesn't fit well

I sent my Ultimate Ears 500vi back because they just couldn't stay in my ears long. The sound was excellent, but when they're not in your ears then it's hard to hear. I have tried all sizes of gel tips as well as foam tips. but none worked well for me. The big ones were too big and the small ones just fell out. Average size was the best but not enough. I was able to compare the UE 500vi to the next model, the 350vi, which suited me MUCH better and actually stayed in. I think the 500vi dropped…

Got what I expected

I ordered these thinking I had lost my second pair of iPhone headphones. Upon arrival, dry cleaning found the iPhone earbuds. It's cool I think. I was curious if they would "double" the value in sound quality and convenience at around twice the price of the Apple version. The sound quality is good - definitely better than an apple. But let's face it, if we're wearing headphones, we're probably in a place with ambient noise. I think that the perfect sound can only be achieved to a limited extent

They are alright. Although I wouldn't buy them again.

SOUND: These headphones deliver great sound quality, although the overall texture of the sound feels a bit "outside", not as warm as I expected. SOUND INSULATION: Excellent. They isolate noise better than any headphones I've ever owned. MATERIAL: The material of the cord is shiny and looks very cheap. By the way, I was disappointed when I unpacked it. In addition, contact with the cord produces tinnitus. Tapping the earcup with your finger makes a REALLY loud noise that can only really hurt…

Excellent quality offer.

I've been using Ultimate headphones for about 10 years and they are one of my favorites. but I also feel like I've noticed a drop in quality. Unfortunately. Not so much the sound quality as the quality of the earbud itself. I have. I've ever had UEs fall apart and on my last 3 the headphone cords came loose and one headset fell apart. Everything ended up in the trash, which didn't happen to any of my old kits. However, I am rating this 5 stars as I am a perpetual optimist. In addition, the…
