Before that I used the Microsoft Sculpt ergonomic keyboard and then Microsoft Surface. I had an issue with the Surface as the battery life was terrible and having to do weird manipulation to get the buttons to work didn't help either. Bought to replace the MS Natural 4000 keyboard, which I really liked, but after many years of use, the key stopped working. Due to the need for a replacement I decided to switch to a wireless device - otherwise I would have gotten another of the same kind. There is a big difference between the K860's chiclet-style keys and the MS Natural keyboard, giving me some time to get used to the reduced key travel. The keyboard itself is great. It took me almost no time to adjust my typing to it. Works great with the included dongle and Bluetooth. No setup required. Being able to use this keyboard with three different computers is a huge plus as I have three and often end up typing on the wrong computer. As advertised, some buttons are programmable, but they left out an important feature that I was praying for. Spaces cannot be programmed. Anyone who has previously used a keyboard with the left space bar "backspace" and the right normal key will be disappointed.
