We expected that. They came quickly, we needed an insole and they work great. We haven't used them long enough to give them five stars, but that's the only reason I didn't rate them that highly.

I wear women's shoes in size 6.5 with a wide foot, which means that with socks they correspond to a size 7. I ordered small ones and they are huge. They may work for some purposes, but absolutely not as a thick sock. They are going back. (PS If the smallest male size that fits them is 5 and the smallest female size is 6, then one of them must be wrong because they are not equivalent sizes.)

They're not very stretchy, but have such stiffness and shape that they almost snap onto your foot (yes, they're soft like socks, but they don't rely on elasticity, just good fabric shape). Ventilation and padding in the right places. Cool enough for the Caribbean. If they keep a decent time I can't fault them.

This was the only pair of socks I used and needed on my Camino de Santiago (220km in 8 days). Despite the heat and very heavy, warm hiking boots, my feet always stayed dry (socks and boots still have to be removed every 1-2 hours). I wore them alone, not as lining. I washed my socks every night and they dried all night. I'm impressed that after 300+ km they are still in good condition with no punctures. Another pair of innards I received wore out on the heel in less than 4 days.
