My 11 year old son loves these sneakers! He says they're very comfortable and he loves how they feel when he's running during soccer practice. They fit as expected!

They're hard to hit and once you do they get too big! You cannot unlace the laces enough to accommodate this as the shoe's collar and tongue are sewn on.

No tab to allow a child's foot to bend to fit the shoe. The hole isn't much wider than his toe. Basically, the child should appear almost like a ballerina on pointe shoes, then slip into the shoe and awkwardly stretch the leg. It is impossible for a child aged 4 to carry it alone. I've never seen anything like it: the sole is open, it looks like a suspension bridge. I could see that even if we could wear shoes (which we never did) that the open-structure sole would likely break when a child…
