Item appears to be well assembled and as advertised but they rotate on the crash bar there is no way to stop them from rotating which is a hassle because I now have to drill mine poles to secure them in place

The bracket seems to be of cheaper quality. Maybe plastic. But I was able to tighten the screws without loosening them. You will need a longer allen wrench than specified to tighten them enough to keep them in place.

Installation on the engine guard was not difficult. They seem very stable and well made for the price. You look great. The pens required a bit of fiddling as they have spring parts that were difficult to align with the base of the pen. I would recommend though

Cheap metal, breaks when installed. It's very dangerous, especially when you're driving on the highway and you break down. A friend had the same brand but short pens. They broke when he took them off in the same place. It is a low grade metal and can be extremely dangerous to drive. DO NOT BUY

They work as they should, they put together very hard. I had to ask for help and hate it but 1 person with 2 hands was unable to assemble part of the footboard. Once everyone was together and on the bike, adjustment wasn't difficult. In fact, I was completely amazed at how many adjustments could be made to accommodate my short legs. I liked them, but putting them together was a real headache.

The pegs are good and so far good. Remember that this is a Chinese product which means the quality is at the lowest level in the chart. If you don't buy Harley Davidson China, then the quality will be a little bit better. Be careful when installing and also when tightening the screws. If you follow these simple rules, your installation will be successful and nothing will break. Remember this is cheap aluminum so be careful not to stand on it.
