Thin, rather viscous as a cream Suitable for large parts of the body such as arms and legs, but I prefer something thicker for arms and legs. I have to apply lotion all over my body after showering so I'm damp and that's fine as the thinness makes it quick and easy to spread. No fragrance, but it "weathers" the next day, while some others I've used that are much more expensive, like Amlactin, last throughout the activity.

This is one of the few moisturizers my dermatologist recommends and now I know why - it doesn't irritate my skin at all. Almost every other moisturizer makes my skin itchy including other types of Lubriderm but not this one. I've narrowed down the list of guilty ingredients to just a few options: lanolets, lanolates, and words with "lano-" in them; this basic version of Lubriderm does not have either. It's also not greasy at all and just makes my skin feel normal.

My current daily lotion is light, fragrance-free and absorbs quickly. The only complaint with all of these pump dispensers is that LOTS of lotion are left on the bottom when the pump stops pumping. Finally I cut them open and scrape the rest into a travel bottle.
