Not ideal for UV-5R

Nice heavy canvas case, but the strap is too wide (and as others have said, oddly knotted). As a result, the radio does not fit exactly into the housing, but is pushed to the side. This does not affect the function of the case, but makes it a bit uncomfortable. Overall, value for money is good, but not perfect.

Nice for the price.

Good product at a good price. I wish someone was more careful about packing the straps. Instead of being stretchy and pleated like other products, they looked like they had been crumpled and holstered in a hurry. In addition, the Baofeng Uv-5R or its variant works much better when the clip on the radio's belt is removed.

Great inexpensive case for the GXT1000!

I just bought a pair of GXT 1000s and needed a way to carry them and all their belongings on camping trips, hikes, etc. Considered some very expensive options ($50+ for a radio case?) and wasn't too keen on spending as much on the case as I did on the radios themselves.
