Really liked it when I got it, but now I'm a bit disappointed. I keep it on the butter shelf in the fridge door and the lid is always off when I use it. If you store it in the refrigerator door oil drawer when opening and closing the refrigerator, the lid will slip off. I expect at some point I'll leave the drawer open, open the fridge and the lid will fall off and shatter. As others have said, the top doesn't actually attach. I have found that my 4 oz butter dish (1 stick) is not big enough for the 8 oz butter I am buying right now. This dish is perfect at an 8 ounce size and while I haven't tried it, it should be big enough for a 1 pound packet of butter.
