I wanted a metal sandwich pan to be plastic free. While this fits the bill, the depth isn't as advertised. Instead of being 1.75 inches deep, it's more like 1.25 inches. We need to put less lettuce in our sandwich to make it fit. Otherwise the container seems fine and is still holding up, but that was only a few weeks ago. If it can last for years, I'll be happy.

I bought this to stop using plastic sandwich bags that ooze mayonnaise and tuna juice or peanut butter and jelly (particularly difficult to separate the plastic let alone waste ). Looks like it's the right size for my sandwiches. Unfortunately, when he showed up, I was no longer able to leave the house and go to work with lunch. I look forward to using this one day.

Okay, I make a three-story rye bread for my husband every day. It's an awkward size, but this box does a great job. I hated spending so much money. And I wish there was a plastic cutting square in the box so I can cut the sandwich into 4 pieces inside the box. But it's a great innovation and I really don't mind spending that much if the product is worth it. However, €10 would be a reasonable price.

I have 5 of these containers - Tupperware worth about $100. I wouldn't spend that much money if it wasn't worth it. I pack sancha (regular sandwich bread with a little extra) and fresh veggies with hummus. They are perfect for that. I wouldn't pack anything really wet because it will leak. Overall I love these. We have them until we die, our husband puts his lunch box on the car and drives off *face palm*.

The lid is loose on the bottom of the box. It opens and pours out the contents if it is not additionally secured with a rubber band. The lid appears to be very well made from thick steel, but the lower parts appear thinner. It's strong enough, but the lid is unreliable without a rubber band, so we had to switch to the Comfort Loft bento box. However, the box is a good size and fits a large sandwich or other item.
