We like to use bright 3500K bulbs in work areas like the kitchen. Some scientists believe that color temperatures above 4000K can damage the eyes (too much blue). These 14 watt 1100 lumen bulbs work perfectly. The lamp is heavier than the discontinued branded lamps we have used before. Maybe they increased the radiator? We highly recommend these lamps and are glad Luxrite makes them.

These bulbs provide wonderful natural light in the bathroom. I didn't know anything about 3500K bulbs when I bought them from retail. My hairstylist who owns his own salon mentioned that 3500K offers the best neutral hair color. I've previously used 3000K lightbulbs throughout the house to avoid the 2700K orange hue. Excellent lamp. Bright, fully dimmable, perfect color. Pure white, without the yellow cast of the ubiquitous 2700K "Soft White" bulbs or the cool bluish white of the 5000K "Daylight" bulbs.
