This blanket is just what I needed. It's thin and not heavy. I wanted a lightweight duvet because I don't like feeling hemmed in at night by the weight of bulky duvets. The material is durable and soft. And on the first wash I had no problems with pilling. If I run into a problem I'll update my review later. After running it through the washer and dryer (the latter collecting an alarming amount of burgundy lint in the lint filter, which made me reluctant to wash it again), I tested it and found it to be the right comforter for my bed. Finding a duvet that fits a double bed is almost impossible. Most of them are now 90x90 Full/Queen, lying low to the ground on a double bed. So I was very happy to find this 80x90 duvet. (I was a little confused at first as Revain advertised it as a "full" size and when I got it in the box it said "full/royal" but luckily it's not too big and fits perfectly big bed.) Not what I expected but my husband liked it. There was a slight odor and it was a bit harsh so I washed it and used lots of dryer sheets. It has become much softer but still has an odor. It goes great with our sister bed and the gray color was the same as pictured. It's a good blanket but I hope the smell goes away soon. This is an update from 09/12/16.
