I ordered it a little bigger so my child can wear it longer. I was specifically looking for a long sleeve zip top because my little one loves the pull tab as a comfy item. I saw several reviews that the medium looked like it was for a 4 year old. But my son is about 31 inches tall so I bought the height at 36 which seems to be a medium size and is too small.
