So this case is insanely beautiful and appears to be built to last. I'd like to address some of the points made by other reviews: 1. My case is a little "darker" than advertised, but not by much. It looks purple in the photo, but it looks blue to me. Maybe my eyes are deceiving me, but I'm happy with it. 2. The edges of the case for the upper half are tight. Wood finish looks and feels like real wood. It's structured and fits great. The bottom is nice and rubberized so it's not slippery. I didn't use a keyboard cover or screen protector. I tried installing it once and it was a bubble mess so I stopped trying. But the case isn't too obtrusive and I can still access ports with adapters if needed. Easy to install and remove. Bought this in September for my new computer and while it's a sleek and stylish case that's easy to install, it doesn't last long. It's only early January, and there's a fingernail-sized chip on the bottom of the case, and that chip has spread to a large crack on the bottom of the computer. I didn't bump, fall or do anything at all to cause a tear. It's a shame, I was hoping it would be more durable.

My MacBook Air looks great and I love the apple cutout, perfect shape. Looks very expensive, but is quite cheap. The keyboard cover looks great but no light can shine through so I don't use it all the time, but it still looks great! Just note the screen cover, which by the way I wasn't looking for when I bought it. It took about a couple of weeks before I decided to take it off because it was peeling from the top corner (but I may have applied it wrong).
