I've been using this soap for about two weeks, I like it a lot. The aroma in the shower is great. Like a shower in a pine forest. However, like many hard/triple mill soaps, the scent doesn't linger when you get out of the shower compared to retail soaps like Irish Spring/Dove/Dial etc. I've used CaswellMassey and Mistral soaps and they both leave very little odour after showering. Bought for my husband, he likes this soap. The fragrance is a rich and wonderful pine scent made from quality ingredients. I was amazed at the size and weight of these soaps. This is not an exquisite "guest bar" but solid bars that last a very long time. Considering I paid $9 for a smaller soap of this quality, this set is excellent value. The box is elegant and would make a great gift.

Who loves soap? I just ordered gift wrap for my brother's birthday and said I can't wait to jump out of bed to see my Lightfoot pine scented soap again. It wasn't easy finding a bar that wasn't too soft or creamy or brittle or cloyingly sweet or antiseptic or tart or slimy; This soap is an elegant, effective and addictive addition to my shower life. A single bar can cost anywhere from $6-$8, so I buy a set of 4 bars and look forward to switching from one bar to the next.
