Good tripod with great customer service

Well, I have no idea about photography, but after many reviews I bought it for my mother, who was just starting out in this hobby at the time. Now a few years later she still uses this tripod and it really helps her. This tripod has been tested over the years and has performed really well. When it inevitably came time to replace a part, the company was very easy to reach and the part was very cheap. Everyone I spoke to during the process was very helpful and friendly and I have nothing but good

Exactly what I need - great

This is the second one I'm using. We bought one for work a few months ago and loved it so much I bought it for myself. Both were flawless. For the price, it's great construction, responsive handling and a tight lockdown. This thing gave us extremely good and smooth pan/tilt functionality when shooting events like workshops or even short videos of the subject walking around. It's a bit bulky but extremely durable and I think the weight of the tripod is part of what makes it so sleek. The priceโ€ฆ

  • Perfect for outdoor activities
Cons
  • Not as thick as other pickaxes

Liked the size and weight of this tripod compared to full size moving head tripods from Bogen, Manfrotto etc. Easy to carry and also take a camera bag with you. I've been using the tripod for about a month and am happy with the build quality and durability. Like putting a big motor in a small car, not everything will be rosy when you try to fit a legitimate liquid head on a relatively light/medium weight tripod. However, this tripod and probably others like it are quite light. If yourโ€ฆ

Even though it's blocked, there's a left-to-right incline.

I fall in love with the Magnus VT-300 less and less every time I use it. On the one hand, this is a cheap flexible-head option for those who want to record stable pan and tilt videos. On the other hand, it has some recoil even when locked, which is very annoying when you're trying to frame a frame perfectly. What does that mean? If the fluid head is locked (meaning it can't move left or right, up or down), that should mean just that: the camera won't move from its current position. It's notโ€ฆ

Good tripod; not particularly portable

This was a huge improvement over my old Velbon tripod and the price was very affordable. However, I found some problems. old tripod. It doesn't attach well to my small camera backpack. It's too long for that. For some, that's a blessing. For me, I could use a little less height in exchange for more portability. I'm a short guy (5ft 7in). Your mileage may vary. 2) It seems pretty solid and solid, especially for the money. And yet I found a surprising amount of jitter in my wind shots. Maybe. Iโ€ฆ
