I've been using this soap for about 40 years. It has a wonderful smell, somewhat earthy. I believe they use a combination of Spanish moss and roses. Once upon a time there were high quality perfumes with the same aroma. Perfume is no longer available, so soap is a great way to wrap yourself in that scent. good price too.

Have ordered Maja soap many times over the years. I use them to perfume my linen closet and drawers. I put them in "Winter" or "Summer" bags when storing them out of season. I would give 10 STARS if I could! This is by far the most fragrant soap I have ever smelled and used. I have been using this soap for over 30 years after visiting Spain. I put the bars between the clothes in the drawers first so they smell like fresh soap. Second, I use soap in the shower and wash my hands. The soap container was delivered quickly and was undamaged. I will definitely buy again. If you like a fresh, clean scent, I recommend this soap.
