I never thought I would spend so much on landscaping light bulbs. I have used standard 4-7 and 11 watt fake halogen bulbs. Every year I inevitably have to replace a few. Attempts were made to use cheaper/smaller LEDs to reduce power consumption but they produced a harsh bluish white light and were much dimmer than a typical 4 watt bulb.
