I bought a used Manfrotto tripod and someone put the wrong mounting plate on it, luckily they have a spare that's good and if you're like me and have multiple cameras on your tripod use or if you have multiple tripods and then have them on each camera, it's much easier than taking them off and mounting them on another camera.

This is a genuine Manfrotto product offering excellent quality, durability and a perfect fit. It works perfectly with the Manfrotto head I'm using. You feel that your equipment is securely mounted on a tripod, there is no play, bending, noise, etc. when working with the camera. You know your gear is secure so you can focus on your work: shooting.

I have used Arca Swiss plates and clamps in the past but switched to Manfrotto for a number of reasons. Arca-Swiss records of the same denomination kept spinning and losing my camera which is very scary. I don't know why this is but the Manfrotto plates stay very secure even when I attach my black Rapid t1 buckle instead of the standard screw for use with my black Rapid straps.
