🐿️ Lullaby Squirrel Pull Musical Crib and Baby Toy by Manhattan Toy Review

Plush is very cute. However, the music box in the item I received is COMPLETELY out of tune and out of tune - how creepy WTF?!? Serious. Sounds like the background noise of a twisted horror movie... 😳 Back. Will be a 4-5 star product, but not because of the broken music box and the serious scare factor.

The music box is out of tune and sounds tinny. I bought this to replace the music box in another toy that was broken and just to be a stuffed animal. I chose this route because it was quicker and cheaper than buying a new music box. But the sound disappointed me. It sounds really awful and doesn't play for very long.

Very well made, but I was surprised at how big it actually was. It's too big to fit in a baby car seat or anywhere else so I don't really know where to use it. In the end all I had to do was detach the squirrel from the acorn and attach a small ring to the squirrel string. It's way better than just a singing toy. 🤷🏻‍♀️

The music is pretty harsh - sounds like an old-fashioned music box where it's harder to find the right notes. Also, the rubber band might have snapped in the first 20 moves, so now it doesn't work at all. However, the boy likes to look at a cute squirrel, so I'm not worried. I can fix it myself, or I can just cut a rubber band and make a squirrel out of it to stick in an acorn.

Well, probably a great toy if you buy it from a reputable seller who hasn't had it on the shelf long enough before the batteries died. I pulled it 1/10 and it kind of went back into the glans until it touched the fabric and I guided it. Gave full boost, got 2 grades, and then nothing. Other than that, the thing seems pretty good. Looks like you'll have to undo the stitching to swap out the battery.

Cute but too big for a stroller, she's half my baby's size. He likes it, it's soft, it plays nice music, but the outer shell is too soft and flexible. So if you pull the squirrel out of the tree, the tree will collapse so much that the squirrel can't get back up and cut itself. the song is shorter. Bought as a gift. It was less than I expected. The music was very cute as was the squirrel. I liked how it goes in and out of the glans. My only issue is when you drag the squirrel it plays a song and plays while the squirrel is being dragged back into the acorn. The squirrel had some trouble getting back into the acorn on its own and was lagging behind a bit and I had to help pick it up so it continued paying and entering the acorn. I received this item as a gift and although I think it should be hung on a car seat or crib to play music to soothe baby, we use it as part of our bedtime routine to keep the baby waking up and going to sleep. I don't know how well that would work for a standalone toy. When you pull the squirrel out, a song will play while the squirrel returns to the acorn.
