100% Polyester. Imported. Flap closure. DESIGNED FOR HARSH WEATHER: To us, gloves are equipment, not accessories. CONVERTIBLE: Fingerless gloves offer a handy fleece flap for your fingers and thumb that will protect you from the cold when walking through the woods. While a magnetic closure on the back of the hand means the flap will stay out of the way while in use. FLEECE Shell: Featuring a soft fleece shell, the first layer of protection for your hands. These gloves help warm your hands even during activities in the most extreme weather. THINSULATE: Designed to decrease the bulk of the glove, this glove features a 40-gram Thinsulate layer between the shell and the lining to keep your hands warm. Thinsulate Insulation is a thin insulation made of polyester and polyolefin micro-fibers. SLIP RESISTANT GRIP: Featuring a slip-resistant grip on the palm and thumb, this synthetic suede grip helps provide a sturdy grip for your rifle or bow.

Great Transformer Winter Gloves

Time: January 13, 2012 Location: Fairbanks, Alaska, Last Frontier State. : Bought 2 large gloves, magnetic grip, hands are kept warm all the time unless modified to change camera settings and/or lift snowballs to throw. -20F Cast: Me and a friend Subject: Cascade MEDIUM Manzella Mens Conversion Gloves Rating: Bought 1 medium glove, velcro, much harder to replicate because velcro sticks to inner lining of winter jackets. My hands were still warm unless I changed camera settings and/or used…

OK, convertible disposable gloves. Won't last more than a year

When I first got them I loved them, they were warm despite NOT being waterproof and still gave me the ability to use a cellphone or phone . tie my shoes Cheap craftsmanship only shows up after a winter. The stitching pulls around the toes causing them to fall apart, the velcro that holds the back of the glove in place looks like it was sewn on by a drunk worker and those stitching are falling off. I had to sew one of them together again with the fixation around the fingers. If you're looking…

Pros
  • GOLS certified
Cons
  • Too stupid

Very well made gloves. I appreciated the thickness of the fleece and liked the material for the handle along with the magnet holding the mitten part. These gloves are great for running and photography. As for the stitched fingertips, I see other reviewers citing the thickness as a concern. The wrists are too loose, so cold air can also penetrate the gloves. I would still use and recommend these considering there doesn't seem to be any other well made convertible fleece gloves on the market.…

Photographer's Note: Great gloves/mittens for shooting in the cold.

As a photographer, I'm always looking for ways to keep my hands warm when photographing winter scenes. I use my Thinsulate hunting gloves and a lighter cycling glove. Hunting gloves are warm and I can operate my Nikon 610, D7000 and Canon 70D without removing my gloves. But sometimes you have to take off your gloves to access things in the bag or operate other drives on the camera. Robert Rodriguez Jr., a landscape photographer, blogged about his winter gear and mentioned Manzella's convertible
