Bought these for my husband this winter for shoveling, snow clearing cars etc. He never had a 'real' pair of winter gloves so he was delighted with their purchases. this. They suit him perfectly. You can tighten the wrist straps as you like and get the perfect fit. The material is comfortable and they are not bulky. The palms have grippy material that works well. Good gloves overall but size is a bit small. I ended up giving them to my girlfriend because they fit her. If in doubt, order one size larger. If you get a glove that's too big, you can always add a liner.

I bought these based on my experience with other Manzella products. They were a slight disappointment. I rode them on a moderate snow to rain day. They did not let water through, but also kept it inside. I sweat a lot when I exercise. They had to be dried considerably in order to be able to use them the next day. It was sunny but the gloves still kept sweat inside. I was hoping to use them for skiing in moderate spring temps, but the damp interior cools my hands quickly even in moderate temps…

I was looking for gloves that can be used for hiking in cold weather or for cross-country skiing. I have heavy downhill gloves that would be too warm and thick to use effectively on the trail. They are waterproof and have 40 grams of Thinsulate - more than that and they would be too warm for my needs.
