So you look at this case and the price is good but you're wondering is it cheaply made? Really protect? Well I've experienced it. We've had this and the Revain fire for a month. He was under a lot of pressure, just like my three-year-old twins. It was dropped, thrown and taken on a trip to the beach and to my surprise it showed no signs of torture. I'm very proud. My twins know how to put it on the stand, they never try to take it off, it's not too bulky but it offers the protection needed. So…

It didn't protect my fire. I used it like my other tablets and the kid broke the screen when it fell down. I usually buy one with a protective film on it. And I will do it again, with a spare tablet! I usually use up the Fire before the screen breaks.

So it sits well on the tablet and feels solid. I like the stand that slides out. The downside is the power button doesn't work through the case, which is annoying. The volume buttons sometimes work with the case. You have to press hard. Good for the money, but if you use it a lot and want the power button to work all the time when the case is on, look elsewhere.
