Nice print, good pillowcase

I love Marimekko textiles and it's a beautiful print. Makes a standard pillowcase a little more special. Excellent fabric quality.

Pros
  • Baby bedding
Cons
  • I'm worried

Color washing and thread breakage

I love the design BUT when I hand washed them some of the color washed out and I had to resew the seams on the sewing machine because of the cheap thread torn is a few places. You should hand wash these pillowcases to keep them bright and bold.

Pros
  • Sheet and pillowcase sets
Cons
  • Crumpled packaging

Is the fabric cotton?

Label says 100% cotton. But when touched, it is similar to polyester or nylon, very uncomfortable for the skin. It's beautiful visually and I love duvets etc but I won't be buying it as it's uncomfortable to sleep in. I'm curious, am I the only one who believes this?

Pros
  • Sheets and pillowcases
Cons
  • Expensive insurance
