I live in Wisconsin - it's 5 degrees Fahrenheit today. I have special heated gloves for days like today, but they are too warm at 25 degrees or more (my opinion). They are medium thickness, well made and work on 20-30 degree days. I like the cut of the gloves - the elastic band doesn't bother me.

I already have a pair of gloves for the 30 degree winters that are coming here but I needed a lightweight pair and they fitted just right. I have big hands, size XL was a welcome find. They fit well but the material isn't waterproof at all so they get wet if the temperature isn't cold enough. In general I like them.
