I'm in my 50's and use Secret Express Control Mascara. I like it but getting old. I decided to try this Vantika, it really lengthens the lashes. So far, so good. I've been looking for a mascara that doesn't smudge for a long time. Everyone says no, but this one finally lives up to that claim. I'm older so I just apply MAC Prep + Prime primer/concealer without powder under my eyes. The powder will settle into my stupid creases. This means that lubrication will be done no matter what. Mascara not even worth 1 star. It holds together from the start! Usually my mascara clumps after a while, but this one clumped right away. It doesn't cost a dime! DON'T BELIEVE THE 5 STAR PRICES!

Bought after reading other reviews that said it doesn't smear. I've tried sooo many mascaras that promise not to smudge, including some very expensive ones, only to be disappointed. I really don't get dirty with this one. I'm surprised. I apply a layer to the top lashes, let it dry, then apply another layer to the top lashes and then some to the bottom lashes. Even at the end of the day I'm amazed at how good this mascara looks! And the price is great too!

This mascara didn't beat the mascara I already use. Although it claims to be waterproof, it smudges under my eyes in a couple of hours. I will not buy again.
