One of my favorite amazon purchases to date! Feels amazing when your on the receiving end, makes it much easier to be on the giving end too, you don’t have to put as much oomph into it. Mine rolls nicely. Also eliminates the need to break out the lotion.

I injured my bicep tendon doing tire flips and atlas stones. I ended up going to PT for it but they suggested using ice after training and PT sessions. I saw this online and bought it. You freeze the metal ball and pop it in the plastic socket and you can rub it deep down into the tissue where it needs to go. I showed this to my PT and she had never seen one and had her clinic order some. This speeds healing and recovery. If you train, you could use one of these!

This massage roller ball is amazing. It stays cold long enough for me to work out all the knots in my trigger points. I wasn't sure such a small ice ball would work, but it allows more control than the larger ones.

The metal ball sticks whether it is warmed up or cool, making it difficult to use. I didn't wind up getting to use it for the purpose I intended (as a pain relief took during labor) but I've used it a few times since and it just isn't quite what I needed.

Not a bad massage device, though I do think using a tennis or lacrosse ball can be equally as effective. I like that you can use hot or cold temperatures, a great perk. The ball tends to become trapped in the socket at times during use.
