screen fits but installation and assembly is questionable. When I installed mine and snapped the clips into place, the screws bent, allowing the sides to open. The beetle can easily find its way around the sides and inside. While I'm sure some sort of tape or zip tie can fix the problem quickly, why would I do that?

Can't believe they sell this separately! And for the money they are asking you would expect it to fit really well and be durable. What a disappointment. I used 1/2 tube of caulk to keep it inside and seal the edges from bees. Complete junk, but useless without it. there with a good sealant. 🤔

This umbrella is a great complement to the Maxxair 00-955001 White Fanmate Cover with Ez Clip. It took me a few extra minutes to install the zip ties in a couple of key locations (as shown in the picture). This will really help to fix the screen and get rid of errors. Very easy to install. Stays secure (especially with zips). Hope that helps :)

Some parts of this pathetic screen detached from the frame when I carefully removed it from the plastic bag cover so the installation simply clips into the main body between the outer bezel. made in the usa ahh please just ship it to made in china they will probably do a better job rubbish give me my money back

They don't fit at all. Cables/cable ties solve the problem. For €20 I would have expected a better fit. Also, the mesh is plastic - this part is overpriced due to the material, fit and finish. This is the only option for the Fanmate product. In hindsight I would suggest buying the mesh/screen material from a hardware store, cutting it to fit the Fanmate and securing it with silicone and cable/lightning ties. You will get a more suitable and durable solution.
