Not impressed with these fancy ribbons

As a newbie to the Arts and Crafts world, I had high hopes for these grosgrain ribbons. However, as a result of using this product, I found that they frayed quite easily and did not hold up well under regular use. The design is beautiful but the longevity of this product is not worth the cost.

Pros
  • Beautiful design
Cons
  • Frays easily, not durable

Colored ribbon in dark chocolate

Real dark color (dark chocolate vs. milk chocolate in the photo). It is difficult to find a brown band in a large rib of this width. I don't really like chamomile, but luckily it's not double-sided. I can use the side without chamomile.

Pros
  • Available in various other colors
Cons
  • Some little things

They proved perfect for very little money

I added outside curtains and the necessary potholders. I bought a cheap grommet and this tape. They turned out to be perfect for very little money. I have metal poles supporting the patio roof so I used magnetic hooks to attach drawstrings to them. FYI I made the cornices out of cane that I cut with a cheap cane cutter. For the tips I used carriage bolts in the ends with JB Weld to hold them in place. Voila, curtain rods are about $3 each.

Pros
  • 1.5 inches at 30 yards
Cons
  • Doubt
