Outperforms my expensive fixing powders!

Like! I'm a powder lover and always looking for something better. It beats all my expensive powders including Laura Mercier. It's sooooo finely ground and feels like silk, reminds me a lot of my Smashbox Halo except Maybelline offers a matte/pristine finish (and doesn't have the $45 price tag). It significantly reduces my pores when applied with a wet beauty blender. The ONLY minor downside though is that I have dry skin so I have to apply a moisturizing spray (Mac's Fix or Mario Badescu) but I

I looked like a dead bride

Every time I use this powder I look good but when I take a picture with flash I see the box is done. I wouldn't say it's necessarily a memory. but it may be, all i know is that i look ashy and it's not cute even if i use a very light hand when applying it. I'm giving it two stars because I've seen YouTube videos of people liking it and disliking it, so this might work for you but definitely not for me. As an additional note for those who might find this helpful, I'm African American with medium

Pleasantly surprised

Not a bad powder for dry skin, well-fixed make-up and, in addition, a soft focus effect, not too matting. Some things to keep in mind: - A little goes a long way. - It's tinted but translucent so you can make it a little lighter than your skin and you'll be fine. - Suitable as a normal fixing powder as well as for baking. I would apply a light shade and under the eyes when baking. - It's odorless! Taking off one star for the color choice, there is no olive shade suitable for fair to medium…

Very matte/ "powder ". Compared to Black Opal Finishing Powder

I used this morning and was surprised at how matte my face was. Jish. Rzhunimagu! The only thing is that "dark" powder is not my shade (much darker than my concealer). Next time I'll use "Deep" then everything should be fine. Overall I prefer Black Opal because this powder has a little shimmer. It just looks prettier in natural light/sunlight.

Buy it, you will love it!

I like it very much! Laura Mercier better watch her back lol. For a fraction of the cost, I get exactly the same coverage and support. I bought the shades Deep and Dark. DARK is DARK. For reference I wear Coconut in Maybelline Fit Me and Rich Cocoa in Estee Lauder Double Wear and Soft Sable in all L'Oreal and I can only use DARK around the face. Deep is the perfect shade for my entire face, but I usually use it to set the under-eye area when I don't want a bright/highlighted under-eye look…

Great setting powder

I was looking for a setting powder that wouldn't weigh my face down or look harsh. I have a light complexion although not very light, I prefer nude foundations so I went for Light Setting Powder. Not correct! It turned out to be very orange on me but I liked the way it felt on my face, very light and very smooth, even after 10 hours of wearing it still holds up very well. So I thought why the heck should I buy a bright lighter lol its a nice light when it comes in it looks very pale in the…

Look Middle-aged women (or men, whatever) - That's a big no - doesn't work very well with our 'advanced' skin, I think that's the best way to put it . Yes, I'm a middle-aged beauty trying to up my eyeshadow game. Check out the YouTube tutorials and try to find out what has changed since my Merle Norman over 20 years ago. So this is NOT the Fit Me powder you heard about in the YouTube video tutorials - it's a PRESSED powder, not a loose powder. This loose material sits next to your skin. and…
